Can this device act as a way to enable audio track overdub in Session View? I know Ableton can overdub midi clips in Session View, but not audio clips.

The device works well, but turning the Device Activator button on and off doesn't have an effect. If the device is loaded onto a track it will work, no matter if it is on or off. How do I solve this? I need to be able to toggle it on and off with the press of a button. Thank you.
