Hi guys, thanks again for downloading, I think you're right chinski that I could implement a seperate pitch detecting mode which just sort of acknowledges latency quite explicitly. Nice idea. So yeah in answer to you both it is definitely possible...I have a few other devices that I need to prioritize now but will get round to it at some point :)

As for recording the MIDI, this is a standard issue for midi generating devices (tracks can't record midi generated by their own devices), you could record the midi into another MIDI track as you say, but I tend to just resample things

Hi guys, I really appreciate your patience on this one...I ended up having to overhaul a lot of the syncing logic in order to get it robust and it's been pretty time consuming testing on all different versions of Live etc.

That said, check out the updated description for a list of improvements in the new version. It's available on my gumroad and will soon be a paid for pair of devices but I will leave it free for a bit for you guys to check out!

Hi Modlabs, yeah the mod output should always reflect note length and therefore be affected by those controls. I've just noticed that there's a v8 Javascript object being used that could be the issue if you're using Max 8 (bundled with Live 11). Which version of Live or Max are you using?

Cheers Giant Ear, I'll look into it some time this week. Is that an error message you're getting or is it like you can't undo anything else in Live when using this device?

Hi enchse, sorry for the late reply but I think the new Sequence mode will do what you're looking for. If you set the distribution to 'Beginning' it works essentially the same as the old Counter mode did, but now you have the 'Rotation' parameter that will offset where the note-on message occurs in the sequence. Let me know if it does what you were hoping!
