@BROSCA legit 😆
@wotlad interested if there was an update regarding the cpu usage ? Looking to buy equation as a default eq but if it’s eating up more power than Pro-Q4 for example I can’t have the luxury of using it consistently.
@simplemachines, hope you're well, after a few days of testing I wanted to share a couple of ideas that I believe could enhance the workflow even further.

1. It would be great if Armer could allow the arming button to be used to deactivate a MIDI/audio track by clicking on the actual icon as in (not just when clicked on the track itself), it would be particularly handy when using the main track for live jamming or live sound manipulation into another armed track that is recording the main track's audio. This removes the need to toggle off Armer in a live performance or creative session scenario.

2. I thought it would be really helpful (if possible of course) for the ''Computer MIDI Keyboard'' icon/button to be automatically toggled on/off along with arming and disarming tracks using Armer. This would switch between audio and MIDI bindings without needing to manually enable or disable it, helping to maintain an extremely quick workflow.

Again, I truly appreciate the effort that has gone into this, and I hope these suggestions might be useful for future improvements. Thanks so much for your time and consideration!
@simplemachines,

Thank you so much for this swift fix! The arming of multiple tracks is working flawlessly—exactly as I had hoped. This is such an underrated feature, and you truly deserve all the flowers for making it happen.

When it comes to feedback, I think the functionality is perfect as is. I really appreciate the ability to arm tracks using Shift + Click / Ctrl + Click—it feels intuitive and well thought out. Some users might prefer keeping it limited to Ctrl/Cmd + Click, which could add an extra layer of simplicity, but that’s just a minor thought.

Once again, thank you so much! I’m truly grateful for your work.
Hi simplemachines,

That’s right when exclusive arm is disabled , Armer works perfectly by automatically arming the track I select (same as for when it’s enabled). The issue arises when I try to manually arm an additional track, as you mentioned. And my apologies for any confusion I’m Ctrl+clicking instead (shift+clicking) directly on the Arm Recording button to mimic the behaviour of exclusive arming when armer is on. This sometimes works sometimes doesn’t.

Thank you!
Hi simplemachines,

Just wanted to share some feedback regarding the Armer device. When exclusive arming is disabled in Preferences and Armer is used on the Master track, it seems like holding Shift while arming another track should allow both MIDI and audio tracks to be armed simultaneously, regardless of which one is currently selected. However, in practice, this behavior is inconsistent—it only works randomly after multiple attempts, and sometimes not at all.

I’d really appreciate it if this could be addressed, as I prefer using Armer over Options.txt for managing arming behavior. It allows me to save a default set without any tracks pre-armed, while still enabling instant arming just by clicking on a track.

Thank you!
I can't thank you enough for this simple yet super-effective device, it's been such a game-changer that I had to make an account just to express my heartfelt gratitude. This has improved my workflow in ways I couldn't have imagined!
Thank you!
