@Argent Star: Thanks for the correction :)

@c2001 Yes, actually it is a NonCommercialShareAlike license which says the following according to linked licence info:This license lets others remix, adapt, and build upon my work non-commercially, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.

Official term: This device built in Max/Max for Live (Cycling ´74/Ableton) is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

NonCommercial: You may not use the material for commercial purposes.

ShareAlike: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
@gregter007:
Thanks for letting me know! In the Instruction Video (https://youtu.be/i0VIB9rzU14) at the very end there is a short instruction how this can possibly be avoided. In the Max Application, which runs in the background, the Search Path must be defined once, i.e. the location where the sample was placed on the hard disk must be defined. Did you already try this? This way it should (hopefully) work better.
@alectaylor75: I'm very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I can't reconstruct the issue on my (relatively old) Mac. Both devices are not exactly sparing with the CPU. Could it rather be an overload of the resources, why Ableton Live then simply crashes? If you can't work with it at all, you'll get your money back (or plugins of your choice that are about the same price).

@alectaylor75: I fixed the bug; i.e. now you should be able to load multiple instances with individually selected samples in one session. All buyers should automatically get a notification, or at least be able to download the device again
@dundunny: Unfortunately this is not possible (if I understood your question correctly). It is an MID instrument, like Ableton Live's Sampler or Simpler, where you cannot control the speed and pitch parameters of audio tracks within the session. Check the instruction video to be sure: https://youtu.be/i0VIB9rzU14
Not yet, I'm planning to make this possible with an update someday, as well as having grid based time settings also synced to Ableton Live transport.
The initial idea of this device is to use it as an real time audio effect, so everything can to be recorded an exchanged at four different stages from a running audio file or using the bridge to also record material from midi instrument tracks directly.

But it shouldn't be to complicated to follow your idea — I'll definitely think about it.

Meanwhile you might want to have a look at another device of mine named *freeze, with which you can preload (drag+drop) audiofiles into buffer for further processing getting quite similar results to the device above: https://maxforlive.com/library/device/6592/freeze
Sorry to hear that. Which OS do you use? Up to High Sierra everything should work fine on a Mac. Did you check the video how to use the FX bridge? (Since the setting needs some extra fiddling …). If you open the patch the external object, named 'vb.freezer~' has to show up, otherwise there should be some notification in the Max window.

Thanks for the hint, now it should work.
Sorry for delaying my response, I didn't get any notification about your comment. I just uploaded an updated version on September, 22, in which (hopefully) all bugs are fixed. If you write me a pm (see my contact data/website in the description next to the file) I can send you the new file directly.
