This is my glorified cascade~ device. FilterTron offers the ability to save and edit user-named presets in a drop-down menu. Presets can be selected from the drop-down menu, or by employing the live.dial to the left of the drop-down menu. Presets can be randomized as well as the sweep of the selected filter (but not simultaneously). Multiple (peaknotch) filters can be employed to create intricate filter shapes, which may result in distortion, hence, the gain knob. An attack knob is provided to reduce the potential for audio clicks during randomization. |
