Name | Version: | 14-bit MIDI4Push 0.1 |
Author: | Sten |
Device Type: | MIDI Effect |
Description: | Inspired by CC map8. With 14-bit MIDI4Push you can send 14-bit MIDI Control Change messages that can be mapped to the 8 encoders of your Push controller to control external hardware. 14-bit CC messages are generated by combining two standard 7-bit MIDI CC messages to enhance the range of possible values from (0-127) to (0-16383). Used Control Change messages range from 0-31 (MSB) to 32-63 (LSB), thus giving you 32 channels of high resolution MIDI control. Just drop it on a MIDI track and pick a MIDI-to destination. |

I haven’t tested it with other hardware but in theory you can map anything to the live.dial objects.

thanks for the device! Have you thought about expanding it to also support NRPN? Maybe switchable with 14bit CC?
