Description: | This is a sequencer that triggers a volume envelope from the function object. The envelope can be up to 1 second long. Theres 16 user definable presets at the top (shift click the dots to create a preset) which will remember all settings of the device (the sequence, the function object, timing, playback type, loop on/off and envelope length) Something interesting you can do with it is make an envelope that looks a bit like a V so that every trigger from the sequencer causes the volume to dip for a moment. Useful for a psuedo sidechain type effect. You can also loop the function object which can create some clicky noises or stumbly rhythms. The trigger sequencer still retriggers the start of function even when function is looped. I'm thinking about creating one of these that does filtering, what'dya think? |

Why not make it a "mappable LFO" sequencer, like the "stepper" for NI's Massive? Would be nice to see this as a tool where we can choose what we sequence. That also means you get to focus on core features for the sequencer rather than worrying about filters, etc that already standard and ready in other host VSTs/plugins.

You mean an api device that controls live parameters where each step can be a different curve?

Agreed. A simple device that allows you to make your own envelop for anything. So i can make custom curves for effects i control with a controller.
There are some devices that do this. Like Mapulator, but it doesn't save / reload settings with a project so it is practically unusable.
