Name | Version: | Xfade looper 1.0.0 |
Author: | chrissie |
Device Type: | Audio Effect |
Description: | A cross-fading looper suitable for making drones from live instruments. It allows you to make smooth repeating sound effects without the annoying 'click' of normal loopers. It allows the recorded sound to fade in and out smoothly too. It is designed to work as a MIDI-triggerable effect for live performance so there is a 'Big Button' that toggles between record/play/stop+erase. There is currently no option not to erase the loop after stopping, nor is it possible to overdub ... but I'm thinking about that. This looper is not suitable for phrase-sampling as it will take n mS (where n is the xfade time) from each sample to cross-fade it back into itself. I run it on Max 7.0.3 but it'll probably also work with Max 6 |
