This utility listens to the audio passing through the device, estimates a calibrated VU/RMS-style average, and writes a static Clip Gain correction directly to the relevant audio clip. It is made for fast pre-plugin gain staging before analog-modeled compressors, saturators, channel strips, and console-style effects. Use it when you want your clips to hit a consistent reference level before the rest of your chain.
