| Description: | Thresho is a utility that records up to 4 stereo audio inputs automatically based on a user-defined db threshold. Once the audio reaches that threshold, Thresho begins recording; once the audio drops below the threshold, and the ‘decay’ period has been completed, it stops recording. The timestamped file is then, by default, imported into the user’s ‘User Library’ within ableton’s sidebar for easy access within other projects. WHAT IT DOES Thresho monitors up to 4 stereo audio inputs and automatically starts recording when audio exceeds a user-defined dB threshold. Recording stops after audio drops below threshold and a customizable decay period completes. Files are timestamped and saved to your chosen folder. INSTALLATION Drag Thresho.amxd onto any audio track in Ableton Live. No additional files needed, it's a single self-contained device. CONTROLS - Input 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 — Toggle which stereo inputs to monitor - Thresho (vertical slider) — Set the dB threshold for triggering recording - Gain (vertical slider) — Master output gain - Decay (seconds) — Time to wait after audio drops below threshold before stopping - Decay (minutes) — Additional decay time in minutes - Filepath — Click to choose where recordings are saved - Format — Toggle between WAV and AIFF - Stop/Split — Manually stop or split the current recording - LED — Lights up when recording is active REQUIREMENTS - Ableton Live 10+ with Max for Live - Max 8.1+ (ships with Live) - macOS (Intel or Apple Silicon — runs natively on both) APPLE SILICON NOTE This edition removes the x86-only shell.mxo external from the original Thresho by rossfromfriends, making it fully compatible with Apple Silicon Macs without Rosetta.
