Its multi-slider UI lets you construct chords freely by adding upper or lower intervals to a base note of your choosing, allowing you to experiment with chord formations without any constraints. Step Sliders Add new chord notes for selected notes with the UI step sliders. The step sliders can be dragged vertically and horizontally to create complex sequences using broad, long scope gestures. Rootless Voicings Turn the chord root on and off. Use this to achieve rootless voicings in your chords. Stack/Voicing Modes Switch between these two modes to either add or remove notes from your chords or transpose the voices to achieve different voicings. Chord/Bass Modes Switch between these two modes to control whether transposition affects the whole chord or just the bass. Positive/Negative Modes Switch between positive and negative polarity of chord intervals using the base note as the tonal axis. Use this to switch between positive and negative harmony. Chromatic/Diatonic Modes Switch between chromatic and diatonic modes to control whether the chord notes are added and transposed chromatically or diatonically. MIDI Capture Capture any amount of pitch classes from your MIDI files and use them to set your own custom scales when working in diatonic mode. Chord Notes Removal Remove all the notes from a chord except for the base note, even from pre-existing chords. Use this to turn any chord into a single note so that you can start from scratch again. MIDI Synchronization Synchronize SlideChord to a selection of up to 16 MIDI notes. Use this to synchronize SlideChord to a pre-existing MIDI chord in order to transform it or make new variants. Automatic Scale Awareness Get automatic scale awareness by just turning on Scale mode in Live. Use this to make chords conform to Live’s scale and root.
