Description: | For live performance: Reactivates external sequencers to re-align with global transport. We found during our live set, our Digitakt was unable to re-sync with the rest of the project if we paused or stopped its sequencer. Instead, restarting the sequencer resulted in it declaring that instant as the downbeat, rather than realigning with the global metronome. I couldn't find a fix for this in the Digitakt documentation or an alternative midi-mappable fix, so this is a stop-gap that fit our use case. Every bar the plug-in checks if the button has been pressed. If it has been, it rapidly stops and restarts the global transport on the first beat of the bar. This sends a midi clock start to all connected gear, realigning their sequencers. Please note: - Double click the button to use if it is midi or key mapped as the button behaves as a toggle rather than a push button when mapped. - Works best when looping in Live - If follows are being used, it will jump to the next section. I'm not sure if this is an issue with other sequencers or if this is even the best fix, but hopefully this helps if you've found yourself in a similar situation. Come to a show if see us around xx |
