Description: Created this device due to the lack of having a record-only metronome mode in Live.

Drop the device to a track. It has two switches that lets the device turn on metronome automatically while recording, for Arrange Record and Session Record.

**EDIT 2024: This device surprisingly works well in Ableton 12.1 and serves me a different purpose. I don’t have to turn the metronome on manually first whenever I open a new project and start recording.

At some point this worked but something seems to have broken along the way to Live 9.7.1 and Max 7.3.1. Hopefully there's a fix because this is so useful!

Scratch that. It is definitely working. Just needed to restart my leve set. Great device!

Would be even cooler if it someone could work with / control http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/3949/metronom-for-live

Still working for me with Live 9.7.2 and Max 7.3.3. Try deleting it from project and add again?

@iloyd definitely still working. I forgot to update my comment. It’s the best!

Do you know if there’s any way to have Live only play the metronome during count-in?
