Description: | This is simplification of the great work done by JoeM here: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/2453/bass-station-ii-editor I took a lot of the CC, NRPN control code and UI elements and stripped it down to just send control info. For some reason the original one used a lot of CPU in my setup. Since I don't need bi-directional control, simplifying it lightened the load a lot. I have also re-mapped a lot of controls to make more sense to me when used with the Push. Finally the random is a bit more random :) |

From all the M4L devices here regarding the Bass Station II, this one is actually working great. Nice job and the patch itself is very organized!
I've mapped the midi CCs to the Bass Station but the switches I'm still not able to get them to respond once I mapped them.
This behaviour happened on all devices here, not sure if this is a limitation of the Bass Station II itself but for now I left all the switches unmapped.
If you make a version where also the switches can be mapped I'll definilty buy it.

To return the favor: I made the device bi-directional again, using only native M4L components to keep CPU usage as low as possible (just as light as your own version) and to avoid external routers / javascript. So if you ever reconsider the need for bi-directional control, give it a try! And thanks again, I couldn't have done this without your work.
