Description: | Imagine: You're working on a great song and you try out various ideas on your instruments to just give your song the final ingredient. Then it happens: the happy accident. That's all you needed! too bad though that you forgot to activate recording! You try to recreate your 'accident' but you can't quite get there anymore. Sad. End of story. ------ Rewind into the future: Luckily you have Audio Treasure on your master track which constantly records audio into a 2 minute ring-buffer. Simply write your accident to disc and re-import it into Live! Completely worry-free. Just remember that you have it there and that only the last 2 minutes are kept. |

I am looking for a midi record buffer similar to logic 5. It was a simple key combination that brought back whatever midi you played on that track. Would be really cool to capture clip/scene performance in the same way! any ideas?

Thank you so much! I've been trying to make a device like this for a while, but haven't been able to get it to work properly. Never again will I kick myself for not recording constantly and losing some great fluke of a sound I made. Yay!

audio treasure solves the problem I had when I changed to a 64bit system: I could no longer use an old no longer available 32bit vst (Benedict Roff-Marsh's PreRoll Recorder)! Wonderful to have this functionality back again!
IS there a possibility that you could include the option of a longer "buffer" for recording? Something more than 2minutes... perhaps 15min, just to be on the safe side? ;]

@dna598 - I've been using Capture MIDI (Mac App) and it works wonderfully. The guy who made it modeled it after the Logic one: https://geo.itunes.apple.com/us/app/capture-midi/id766655598?mt=12&at=11lRnf

btw, this device seems to keep crashing Live v9.6.2 (2016-06-22_725d800103) on Mac OS X 10.11.6 (15G1004) when trying to write to disk.

great device! if i had to suggest some features to make this even more bad ass useful, i'd say: some way to increase the recording time from 2minutes to say, 10+ minutes(us ambient people do a lot of long winded jams) and also, a way to pause the recording so that when we hit 'write to disc' it doesn't keep recording (it seems to keep recording until we actually hit the OS's save button).
