| Description: | DRK MAGIC CARPET transforms your performatic- dance magic carpet into a cool midi keyboard - controller. You can switch on-off effects, clip, samples or tracks with them. It maps every pad (plus select and start buttons) to midi notes (not fixed notes..you can change them and store them on presets!) so you can also play basslines, percussion and melodies with it, using feet and hands. There is not a standard id mapping as for mouse or keyboard. I have tried and made 2 different ones for 2 models i have. If the one i upload does not work for you, there is a mao inside the zip for you...or write me , i will help you. There is also a sensor that a friend from max for live showed me called "makey makey". So this software could be useful for those cases of sensors. Hi Frz. do you have how to use the object HI in order to monitor the ID number of your pads? I have a mini patch to do it. And did you try my second map I put in the zip file from my blog? I used with MAC with no problem. Tell me please. Greets !

I am using the same dancepads (the 'staycool' model) but was unable to make it work. Maybe because i am on osx. I tried to change the id list, but that didn't change : i have only one note working (the left pink arrow).
I am also trying to launch clips with the dancepads, if ever you have any tips...
