Name | Version: | Rotating Clock Divider - Icaro Ferre Mod 1.03 |
Author: | IcaroFerre |
Device Type: | MIDI Effect |
Description: | This is a modded version of the Rotating Clock Divider originally by user hdouble. Original version: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/1490/rotating-clock-divider According to the original description: "The Rotating Clock Divider is a type of MIDI sequencer which takes a clock/metronome rate and outputs pulses at different subdivisions ( rate/2, rate/3, rate/4, etc.), for easily creating complex polyrhythms and textured "modular" sounding sequences. It is based on the 4ms RCD Eurorack module." --- I liked this device so much that I decided to make this mod, so here's whats different in this version: - The rotating clock is now synced to the BPM of the project (instead of manually setting ms) - You can set different notes (the originally was set to C3-G3) - Buttons: Random Vel, GM (set the notes to the GM standard), Reset notes, Reset All - Presets (thanks to kleine) It is important to remember that this is just a mod version so most of the hard work was done by hdouble :) --- Version 1.03: - Fixed a problem (aka bad coding) that would prevent the device from recalling the parameters values when loading a Live set. Version 1.02: - Fixed a bug that prevented the second note from working properly. (Thanks to johnisfaster) |

you could use e.g. pattrstorage or coll to store the note values…

Nice work...but... it seems counterproductive to have all outputs fire a bang at the beginning of the measure. am i missing something?

Good day! Thank's for sharing. I have found that it is nice working with global 4/4, but when I try it with global 5/4 I hear break of rhythm. Could you advise is there a way to set up it for different situations, or is there some objects within m4l to research with this task? Have a nice flow!
