A Max for Live device that generates melodies, chord progressions and arpeggios in real time, built on modal harmony and tension-resolution logic instead of random note generation. Every phrase suspends on an unstable scale degree and resolves back to the tonic — the result sounds like a written hook, not a randomizer output.

THREE ENGINES, ONE BRAIN

• Melody — a repeating motif that develops across the phrase, like a real synth lead
• Chords — modal voicings (quartal, sus2, sus4, open) — no generic I–IV–V progressions
• Arp — a built-in arpeggiator with nine patterns, built from the same voicings

All three modes share the same chord progression, so melody, chords and arp stack in key across separate clips.

NINE SCALES & MAQAMS

Minor, Dorian, Phrygian, Harmonic minor, Mixolydian, Lydian, Major — plus Hijaz and Nikriz maqams for Middle Eastern and Balkan color. Each scale has its own gravity: its own degrees to suspend from and resolve to.

Highlight a clip slot, set six controls, hit GENERATE. The MIDI clip writes directly into Live via the Live API — tempo follows your set, swing is baked in, no BPM dial needed. Don't like it? Hit GENERATE again.
