Description: Original design by Emilie Guillet, Rings is basically a resonator, but it has his own sounds other than process signals as a resonator. It can be used to make drones, strange noises and textures as an instrument, as an FX it is amazing as a resonator.
This is a combo because the architecture of Ableton does not allow to use both worlds in one.

It's always been quite amazing to me that you have the genius behind Mutable Instruments making everything free/open source and then folks come along re-package it and try to sell it (in this case for $20+).   Cute.
