Normally, you connect the drive (all is guided in the manual, it navigates automatically to the correct pages with the minimum interaction. All the process is almost automatic).
Select the file you need to download and drag it onto the session. The speed depends on your internet connection and the size of the file. For my .amxd projects which are an average of 100MB it takes 10 seconds to download, then it goes in a folder in your downloads and is available as long as you don't delete.
All it’s managed from within the Ableton Drive device.
When you try it you will see how easy is to use.

When navigating through the browser on this, does it refresh quickly? Im wondering if i could store my M4L devices on the drive, and be able to quickly drag and drop what i need. do you have any video performance you could share ?
