Sounds like a great idea, would require some work to figure out how to record midi into a new clip or change an existing clip to fit the new tempo...
feel free to use the existing patch if you're gonna try it yourself!

Hi
I’m on live 12 on mac
Tried this device but it seems it does not work.
Is there anything I’m missing?
Toggling or triggering record does not make anything happen
Thx

As you research the theme, could you advise, is it technically possible to make such looper that set bpm that could work with pressed global recording button and write automation of bpm changed by this looper and not stopping the global recording?
I just dream the setup that could work with live tempo set on the fly with opportunity midi record the whole process until recording loop.
It could look like play around the instrument, then find the tune, then record it with looper and set the bpm and have pressed global recording from the start of such process, and then you could edit this part as project.
