| Description: | Gesture is a simple yet powerful device: it uses a bank of thresholds and translates any modulation signal (such as LFOs) into MIDI notes. The output notes are in the range C1-D#2, the typical Ableton Drum Rack. To use it, just map an LFO-like device to the main 'Mapper' parameter, and place an Instrument after it. Not only the dots at the bottom of the device indicate when a note has been emitted, but clicking on them will activate/deactivate that note. Note: the device will emit MIDI notes only if Ableton playback is on. |
